Unquenchable Passion for building businesses and living life on purpose.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Well, the short answer is that I LOVE “doing stuff” if there is a reason.?Not being busy to be busy, but to DO something that will mean something, make an impact, make a difference. I think that’s what we all want.
So few of us actually THINK about what we “can” do,
fewer still then strategically, purposefully, PLAN on how they may make a difference,
even a smaller number actually DO.
Since I was a very young person, I have not been able to stop myself from thinking in this way. It’s as if God has turned a little switch on in my brain that I can’t shut off.
Truth is, I like the switch being on
I LOVE the hustle of business, I like getting in a room with nothing but brilliant people, a clean whiteboard, and lots of passion.
I LOVE getting things done! YES, it’s freaking hard, but anything worth doing is gonna be hard. If it’s easy, that’s probably a sign it’s probably not all that important.
The world says “I’m too busy”,?”that’s too much work”,?”that’s impossible”.
The world says “The rich shouldn’t be rich, I want something for free”.
The world says “that’s not fair”.
The world says “serve yourself first”.
I believe the course society is on to be firmly headed in a direction of
ruin and self-service.?
Billions of people drifting through their life, totally unaware of the fact they are headed nowhere?and have no real purpose or meaning to their life. They live for the weekend, they work for the man, and they blame everyone around them for the life they have.
noun? ?coun?ter?cul?ture ??\?kau?n-t?r-?k?l-ch?r\
a culture with values and customs are very different from and usually opposed to those accepted by most of society.
I want to live counter to that culture.
I want to be the kind of business person others can trust, the kind that enjoys the work and hustle of doing good business, with old fashioned ethics, but new school strategy.?
I want to be the kind of father my kids look up to, the kind that teaches them right and wrong, and how to work hard. To own their mistakes and learn from them. To learn to love Jesus.
To not be ashamed of who they really are.?
I want to be the kind of husband God has called me to be. The kind that cares for his wife above myself, and above my accomplishments.
