As the Chief Formulator & Owner of www.OrganicReverence.com, Jillian is infinitely dedicated to helping individuals drastically improve their overall health naturally. She is a Certified Aromatherapist, Licensed Cosmetologist, Actress, and Environmentalist based in beautiful Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. Hailing from Minnesota, her passion for helping people began early on and it has stayed with her ever since.

After spending 15 years in the nail & spa industry and pursuing her acting career, Jillian became pregnant and endured several health challenges that many women face during pregnancy. Seeing that the market didn?t cater to natural remedies, she sought to fill the huge gap in the marketplace; helping other women like herself along the way.

When she isn?t immersed in her career, you?ll find Jillian catering to her hot yoga and gemstone addiction, or enjoying a glass of organic wine while watching a beautiful Floridian sunset. Being a SAG-AFTRA member she LOVES good shows and movies, with engaging storylines and amazing cast and crew. Most importantly, she loves spending quality time with her wonderful family. Jillian is happily married to her cinematographer?soul-mate and is the proud mother of their beautiful and inspirational 5-year-old son.

Currently, Jillian Kinsman-Barrett is finishing up her Clinical Aromatherapy Certification and avidly working on a cliff-notes-style natural parenting book to follow.

How long have you been an Entrepreneur?

Since I was a teenager! I started selling candy, not for clubs or class trips, but just to make money! My first “real” business started when I was 23, a couple years out of beauty school and deciding I had to go into business for myself.

Did you leave a job to become an Entrepreneur?

A couple of times, yes. I had part time jobs while I was going to school as a young teenager. I started my first venture at the age of 23 running a nail business and every career I have pursued since has been other types of entrepreneurial ventures.

What is the name of your current project / company?

Organic Reverence

Please describe for us in 1 sentence your current project.

Formulator of Natural and Organic Aromatherapy Remedies Specializing in Pregnancy, Labor, Babies and Kids

Where did the idea of your current project come from?

I faced personal physical issues during my pregnancy to which there was absolutely nothing in the market place that was either natural or non natural to help alleviate, like when I had a cold and fluid retention. It was out of necessity, that I began making the formulations that I did and because there wasn’t anything like it on the market it took off rather quickly.

Why do you do what you do?

Part of my purpose in life has always been for helping others or helping people look and feel their best and secondly I’m an advocate for environmental concerns.

What’s the one thing you wish you could go back and tell your younger self?

Oh man……..to love and be kind to yourself no matter what and to allow that love and kindness to extend out into the world with everything that you do or create. Because at the end of the day that is what is going to help keep you pursuing any of your passions or business ventures.

What’s the most important piece of advice would you give to someone just starting?

Make sure there is a demand for your business, service or product or that you are filling a need or void in the marketplace. AND…..Outsource the things that can be done by someone else and accept the help when needed so you don’t become overwhelmed.

What does your typical day look like?

My days always vary. But typically I get up at 6am, have a little energy wake up meditation period to get my day started off in the right direction. After getting my son off to preschool. I start with marketing tasks, emails, meetings and then prepping any orders that need to get out. If it is a production day, I am prepping for what is out of stock and getting that set up. Some days its tech /web/ supply orders that need to be taken care of. I try to plan my week to be as efficient as possible by lumping similar tasks together on the same day to save time.

If you were to start again, and could change one thing, what would it be?

I would not have begun wholesaling as early as I did and spent more time on creating more online brand awareness for sure.

What is the most important thing in life?

Love and be kind – Be kind, Be good, Be loving to people, the planet and allow that to permeate you and to be reflected out into the world.

What is one problem you encountered as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

Letting my business just take over and then getting distracted from my main vision. So what I did was took a step back and saw where I was spinning my wheels and allowing that to happen and then really getting back in touch with and tuning in to my own inner guidance and then I saw the changes that I needed to make in order to help my company grow. As an entrepreneur you need your own internal compass.

Tell us something unique about yourself.

Hmmm one thing………there is so many…. but I guess the one thing that stands out the most for me is how my brain is wired. I have always been in pursuit of the truth and more knowledge…bettering myself or course having fun and inspiring others while doing it and then not really caring about what others think.
